A modern version of old worn kitchen utinsels used for Moroccan cooking includes a tangine, fruit, tea pot, box of tea, etc. which was painted and then changed applying graphic art.

Patricia Rachidi

I have been painting on everything and in all medias for over 30 years. I began as a porcelain artist and spent time in the Orient absorbing ancient techniques which I passed on to my students. My escapades around the world teaching inspired me to paint on wood, fabric, glass and to do origional sculptures in red clay and porcelain. Collages in wood, paper and glass are a specialty of mine. I spent 20 years as a designer/manufacturer of costume jewelry in the U.S. but now am retired and have my studio where I have been teaching painting to adults and gifted children of all ages. I live in Morocco and am constantly inspired by the faces of people here and the beautiful light effects on the landscape and the sea. This is a truly...
